Jack is a highly experienced immigration lawyer with over two decades of specialised practice, advising both individuals and businesses on complex immigration matters in New Zealand and abroad. Originally from Taiwan, Jack maintains strong professional networks in Asia. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese, and has a basic understanding of Cantonese and Japanese. He is a member of the Law Association Immigration & Refugee Law Committee and a regular speaker at immigration law seminars and conferences.
Prior to joining Mills Lane, Jack was a partner at Meredith Connell, where he headed its immigration practice. Earlier in his career he also practised criminal law, working alongside some of New Zealand’s leading barristers.
